MRS. JACK WELLS
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sayers and son Kenneth of South Bend spent last week end with Mrs. John Zellers. Waitman Reeder and family of Frankfort visited the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reeder Sunday evening. Ed. Gifford of near Kniman spent Monday evening with Jack Wells and family. Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Burkeen
visited their daughter, Mrs. Martin Fazarri and family in Gary Sunday. The George Washington birthday party given at the home of Mrs. Zelah Thews was well attended. The house was decorated suitable to the occasion and dainty refreshments were served and all report having a good time. The Neighborhood Club of North Union met February 15 at the home of Mrs. Bethyl Bricker with Mrs. Gasaway and Mrs. Kersma as assisting hostesses. Twenty-one were present. The business meeting was spent discussing Red Cross work and the selling of metal sponges. Plans were made for a St. Patrick party but they are not definite. Delicious refreshments were served. The next meeting will be held March 15 at the home of Mrs. James Wiseman.
