ket ball tournament in Rensselaer Friday and Saturday, also visiting his sister, Mrs. Kenneth Ford and husband. Joe Abbot, Thad Mott, Ernest and Clarence Jones of near Talmage, Ill. were on our streets Saturday. LeRoy and O’Neil Hill of Beaverville, Ill. but formerly of our vicinity were calling on old friends here Saturday. Howard McCord of Schneider was calling on relatives here Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Conklin and children of Conrad were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parks and Emma. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yahl and family from Rose Lawn have moved to the Cook farm west of Lake Village. Mrs. Myrtle Lock and son, Chester of Morocco were in Lake Village Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Al Clark of Hammond were here Wednesday. Reno Roush and Cecil Ault of Schneider were on our streets last week Tuesday. Robert Boswinkle of Thayer was a Village caller Wednesday.
