A. S. Barlow is able to be at work after a seige of illness. Isaac Knapp is reported to be getting along after two operations. He is in the Billings hospital at Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Neier, who have moved on Mrs. Anna Davis’ farm near Kniman, visited Mrs. Davis at South Bend. They report that Lloyd is still in the wheel chair. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Altemeyer and family have moved from the Englehart ranch to the home of her parents, S. Engle. Miss Wilma Langdon, a student at I. U„ is reported to be a straight “A” student. Aubra Brown has moved on an Aetna farm north of Wheatfield. Wm. Jeffries has moyed on the Luce farm vacated by Mr. Brown. Mr. B. Ostergard, of Chicago, has purchased a tract of 80 acres in Walker township near the Buckhorn school. Word was received last week by Marion Davis of the death of his cousin, Henry Koffman, of Cloverdale. aged 67 years. word of the death of another stepMrs. May Wilmington received granddaughter in California. The other sister died a few weeks ago.
