Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reed entertained at Sunday dinner. Those present were: Mrs. Mary Solomon, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Solomon, Clara, “Bud”, Ruth, Fred and Edna Mr. and Mrs. Earl Solomon and son,

Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Solomon, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Long and Barbara and Richard Ellis. Thursday was moving day for some of the people in our community. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Osburn moved to the Holton Brown farm, just vacated by Mrs. Mary Solomon. Mrs. Mary Solomon moved to the home of Clarence Reed and family. Mr: and Mrs. H. J. Bonnema called on several families in the Range Line Community on Friday. Mrs. John Ross, Social and Educational Director of Eagle creek Farm Bureau, Mrs. Fred Eoert and Mr. C. R. Benjamin, left for Indianapolis Sunday afternoon, where they will attend the S. & E. conference. Mrs. Dave Dilley returned home Saturday from a two weeks visit witn her daughter, Mrs. Jay Brown who resides in Chicago. Richard Ellis and Edna Solomon attended the Lowell-Crown Point basket ball game in Crown Point, Friday nignt. Lowell defeated Crown Point for tne second time this season, witn a score of 28-27. Neighbors and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Bryant gathered at the Bryant home Friday night, as a surprise. The Bryant’s are moving to a farm near Lowell. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Shilling, Mrs. Jay Pearce and Miss Edna Solomon were in Gary Friday on a shopping tour. While in Gary Edna called on “Eddie’’ Stuhlmacher who underwent an operation for appendicitis Wednesday. Twenty ladies attended the Home Bureau meeting at Center last Wednesday. A most worth while lesson on “Poultry and Hooked Rugs” was given by the leaders, Betty and Maysie Creekmur spent Thursday night with Clara and Ruth Solomon. As a result of cranking cars, last week, Gerald Wineland and Russell Cummins have a broken arm. They are reported to be geting along very nicely. Mr. and Mrs. McCammon motored to Fort Wayne for a week-end visit with relatives.
