LOWE AND GIBSON TOP FEATURE CAST OF SWIFT DRAMA

“The Devil Is Driving”, the film which opens Tuesday at the Momence theatre, is a finely constructed melodrama which fully lives up to its unusual title and to the quality of its cast, headed by such players as Edmund Lowe, Wynne Gibson, Lois Wilson and Allan Dinehart. It is a story of the “hot car” racket in New York, and most of its scenes are laid in the Metropolitan Garage, which serves as a cache for stolen cars, a speak-easy and a hideaway for the head of the racket. The film moves at a terrific pace to a thrilling climax, and mingles ribald comedy with its melodrama.
