John Bunch of DeMotte and Rev. Jesse Bunch from Montana called on their uncle, M E. Stouer on Tuesday of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sypult and Eugene of Hessville, were visiting relatives here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Forest Williams, of Kankakee, were Sunday guests of his parents. Ervy Christenson made a business trip to Detroit, Mich., the first of the week. A former pastor here, Rev. Ralph Colton and family were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ervy Christenson last week. Mrs. Russell Henderson and little Virginia are sick with the flu. Russell Henderson is manager of the Phillip 66 Station here instead of at Kniman as stated in last week’s Post. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wright and Mary Alice of near Rose Lawn called on Lawbaugh’s Saturday. Mrs. Lucy Bloomquist and daughters, Dorothy and Norma were week end guests of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Kraigmiles of Chicago. The Birthday Club met at the home of Mrs. Chas. LaCosse Jr., on Monday. Mr. Jake Severs and children of near Enos were visiting friends in the Village Sunday. Mrs. Jake Severs and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Denton attended the show in Momence.
