John Boback, store keeper in Tefft, is very seriously ill with a bad case of pneumonia. Mrs. Boback has been ill with the flu, but she is recoverng very nicely. The weekly card club was held at the home of Mrs. John. Chapline. Those winning prizes were as follows: Thelma Deerberg, Catherine Peregrine, Mrs. John Ladi. The hostess served delightful refreshments consisting of potato salad, coffee, weiners. Guy Wallace has been on the sick list for the past week with a very severe case of tonsilitis. We hope he will recover real soon. A few of the citizens of Tefft were employed last Thursday and Friday repairing the badly bumpey Railroad Avenue. They gave it a new coat of cinders. You can ride with perfect ease on this street now. Mrs. Wm. A. Will was on the sick list Sunday suffering from a very sick head-ache. Last Friday afternoon the following people and students of the Tefft high school discussed the big subject of unemployment. erson, junior “General Relief” Hazel Meyer, junior “Unemployment Insurance”. Mr. and Mrs. Don Felker returned from a recent visit with relatives in Chicago. A good time was reported while in the metropolis. Mrs. Otto Hoehn spent a delightful noon hour with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ahlgmeier and son, Oscar. Mrs. Hohen is the teacher of the 4th, 5th and 6th grades in the Tefft school. Florence Glasgow spent Thursday evening wth Mr. and Mrs. Geo Benham, principal of the Tefft high school. Mrs. O. L. Hilliard spent Sunday with relatives in Wheatfield.
