“SILVER DOLLAR” AT NORTH

JUDSON SUNDAY.

In historical sweep and pageantry, “Silver Dollar” stands comparison with “Cimarron”. The spectacle that made the first half of the latter picture so vivid and so stirring is present in more modest terms, but brought into sharper relief, in the case of the new Edward G. Robinson picture, is the story of a pioneer of the west in the days when Colorado was shedding swaddling clothes. “Silver Dollar,” therefore, is personalized to a greater degree than was “Cimarron” and, like it, is a thoroughly interesting, well-done, dramatic piece of work. “Silver Dollar” is playing at the Gayble Thatre, in North Judson Sunday and Monday, Jan. 29, 30. Matinee Sunday at 2:30.
