Mr. Wm. Middlekamp, local township leader of Kniman, Mr. Boor and Mr. H. N. Fullenwider, district organizer of the Farm Bureau called at M. F. Pruetts, Friday morning Mr. Pruett has been chosen helper with Mr. Middlekamp for the Walker Township drive. Mrs. Von Twible has been chosen local educational and social leader for the Farm Bureau, Mrs. Pruett is her assistant. Mr. Miller and R. E. Davis of Tefft were callers here Friday Earl Stalbaum, who stays with his sister, Mrs. Wm. Myers visited in Tefft Saturday. Jack and Joe Lilly, called at Dan Odles home Sunday. Joe McFarland is husking corn for Mr. Sampson. Mr. and Mrs. Pruett, Henry Hunsicker and daughter, Etta, Paul and Elizabeth McFarland were Sunday visitors of Harry Neier and family. They assisted Harry in celebrating his 49th birthday. Paul McFarland has been helping L. Clausen husk corn. Paul and Elizabeth McFarland, May and Vic Neier and Kenneth Downey called at the L. Lilley home and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Neier and son. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Neier and family were Gary shoppers last Saturday They also visited at Crown Point. The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Armstrong is reported to have been quite ill. From now on farmers will be changing farms and moving here and there. We understand the Theis family wll occupy the E. Peer farm.
