Swatosh’s Storm Theory
All storms are caused by magnetic influences in the upper atmosphere, which revolves around the earth, says Joseph S. Swatosh. “Then there is also the Heaviside layer, which likewise revolves in about three years.” He believes holes develop in this layer, due to lack of resistance to the magnetic influences of the upper atmosphere, named by him the “stratospherode,” causing wind or rain on the earth. From such a point, storms spread out along storm lines.
