fate Warren is ill at his home with the grippe. Paul Cyphers is on the sick list with the flu. Chas. Fuller returned to the veterans hospital at Indianapolis Tuesday for treatment. Mrs. Ed. Stump is convalescing nicely at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Zimmer and family were Hobart visitors last week. Arthur Brody returned from Chicago Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Anderson and daughter, Irene, and Hart Wig of Montague, Mich., were visitors at the home of Mrs. Gebhart last week. They returned to Michigan Wednesday. Master George Presario of Thayer was rushed to Chicago Heights Til., Monday, Dec. 28. The child was ■very ill. Fred Dodrill, who has been visiting his sister, Mrs J. F. Keithman, of Chicago, returned here in time to spend the holidays at home. It was his first view of a big city. Bill Schulze of Thayer began his training for the “Golden Gloves” this week. All sparring partners come to Thayer. Mr.* and Mrs. D. R. Strong and family spent Christmas with their family in Watseka, 111. Arthur Brodie is spending the hdlidays with his parents in Chicago, 111.
