Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steinke visited his father near Kersey dn New Year’s day. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hedrick and daughter, Marv of Momence, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brown and children Mr. and Mrs. Dallis Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Fravel Brown ate New Year’s dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Brown.! The funeral of Tunis Gebhart of Thayer was held in the church here Monday and burial was made in the .Lake Village cemetery. Mr. and Mrs: Elmer Ford of Momence were guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Ford last week Fiiday. Don Arnet and Mae McCord made a business trip to Kentland Thurscay. Dave Rouse of Kankakee was calling on old friends here oh Wednesday. | Mr. and Mrs. John SheeJLls and Ted of Anderson, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Bryant last week. Harry Katsolis of near'Schneider was a business caller here FDday. Mrs. George Brown has the flu. Mr. and Mss. Chas. Densles visited her father, Mr. Poulsen in the Kankakee hospital last Thursday. Mrs. Ernest Madison is quite sick at this writing.
