A CORRECTION Last week in the Schneider items it was stated that Mr. East had replaced Mr. Glantz at Schneider. The information was incorrect as Mr. East is merely serving here during a brief leave of Mr. Ganz. We are sorry of the error. The Women’s Class of the Presbyterion Church was entertained at the home of Mrs. W. G. Fry on Thursday of last week. Contests on various Bible topics were held, and everyone had a chance to test Sunday School ability. Chocolate and cakes were served to the nine persons present. Mrs. A. F. Vicory and daughters, and Mrs. A. Hartwick were Lowell visitors Saturday. Marie Flatt of Shelby was a guest of Lydia Larson on Wednesday evening. Harry P. Simms went to Indianapolis Sunday evening to attend an American Central Life Insurance meeting on Monday, and three days of an Indiana State Association of Trustees gathering. Leo Vicory, D. Mansfield, and Edward Pasel went to a box social at Illinois Station Saturday evening. Mrs. W. Fry, and daughter motored to Custer Park on Monday with Mrs. T. M. Montgomery, who was returning to her home after spending a short time with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Fred McRoberts were Kankakee callers Saturday. Mr. William Hayes of Monticello spent the week-end in town. Mr. and Mrs. A. Hartwick were Chicago visitors on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. E. Gaarz entertained the Rev. Ray H. Turner at dinner on Sunday. Quite a few persons from Schneider attended the bazaar in Lake Village Friday. Mrs. John Born, who has been wording in the Postoffice, and store of C. Minninger’s, returned to her home near Conrad last Thursday.
