Many from here attended the Community Dance held at Wheatfield Friday night. The weekly Tefft Card Club was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wad Duggleby. Those winning prizes were John Ladd, Wm. Davis, Roy Williams, Mrs. John Cooper, Mrs. Wm. Davis and Mrs. Kate Davis. Ice cream and cake were served as refreshments. All who attended had a very good time. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cullen spent Sunday with relatives. We experienced a horse run-away here Saturday. John Droden was thrown from the horse that he was riding, but without serious injury. Alberta Lewark is reported on the sick list with a bad case of sorethroat. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Felker are visiting with relatives in Pulaski county. Mrs. Caroline Will has been ill the past few days. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Seegrist spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Warren Boyle. Rev. and Mrs. Haight spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Warren Boyle. Mr. Earl G. Martin has been on the sick list the past week, although he is now improving.
