Mrs. Ray Evans is on the sick list this week. Cutie Trump of Fair Oaks was a Village caller Sunday. The residence of Peter Zillek south of town, burned to the ground Sunday evening. Gus Mansfield of Schneider was in the Village Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sypult and Eugene of Hessville were visiting home folks over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Freeman and little Shirley of Highland were guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Platt last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rainford and little daughter of Enos were Village callers one day last week. Rev. Hinshaw of Pontiac, Michigan is holding a Revival meeting here now. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hilterbridle of Hoopston, Ill., were Sunday guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Hilterbridle Mr. and Mrs. Perry Bailey of near Rose Lawn were in the Village Monday. The new 1933 auto license plates will be white numerals on a red background according to a bulletin issued by L. H. Hobbs; manager of the Chicago Motor Club for Lake County, this week. Indiana will be the only state of the union using this color combination, although Alaska will use it. Illinois will use white numerals on a blue ground.
