Delegates from the Congregation Mission Society and Sunday School of the St. Lukes Church attended the second annual Convention of the Michigan City Regional Conference which was held at the Salem Evangelical Church at Wanatah last Friday and Saturday. Mr. Wm. Fullan spent the week end in Chicago visiting among relweek end visit with Mr. Ed.Hecker and wife at Gary. Mr. and Mrs. I. T. Bastman and daughters, Dorothy and Ruth of Oak Park, Ill., were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Maines. Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Fitzgerald and son, Alden motored to Lafayette Saturday where they were social callers Mr. and Mrs. Owen Daly and daughter, entertained Mr. and Mrs Jerry Maloney and children at their home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bains stopped at the Herman Hine home for a short visit Sunday evening while enrouted from Monon to their home in Michigan City. Mr. John Hanke and family spent Sunday in LaPorte visiting John's brother, Emil, who is a patient in the Holy Family hospital. Miss Helen Dolezal of Chicago spent Saturday and Sunday as a guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dolezal, Sr. The benefit program sponsored by the Railroad Twp. Relief Ass’n. which was to be given last Tuesday evening at the school auditorium was postponed because of weather conditions to next Tuesday, Nov. 29th. The best of local talent will appear on this program and the committee promises a good evenings entertainment. Mr. Raymond Hine left for Monon Monday where he spent the former part of the week with the Art Marshall family.
