VOTE FOR GEORGE F. SAMMONS FOR PROSECUTOR George F. Sammons, the Democratic Candidate for Prosecuting Attorney of Newton and Jasper Counties is Junior member of the law firm of Sammons and Sammons in Kentland, Indiana. He graduated from DePauw University with the class of 1920 and received his J. D. degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 1926. He desires to emphasize the fact that he would be a candidate for this office even though we were operating under the old fee system. As far as he is concerned the office has not been made more attractive by the fact that it is now on the salary basis. He believes in honesty and fair dealing. He is playing no favorites and if elected the policies he now follows will remain the same. He wishes to state that the stories detrimental to his candidacy which the opposition has found necessary to resort to are unfounded and untrue in fact. He welcomes any investigation in the town where he has lived for thirtyfour years. Mr. Sammons is a past commander of Ora Hendrick Post of the American Legion, Kentland, Indiana; a member of the Masonic Lodge and affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.
