Railroad township was well represented at the Young Men’s Republican Club Barbecue and the Republican meeting at the Knox high school gym last Wednesday evening. There will be services at the St. Lukes Evangelical Church on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 following S. S. Services at 1:30. Services will be held in the English language with communion also in the English language. The church invites everyone to attend these services. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Jacobson and son of Michigan City were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Long, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. James Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Williams of Morocco spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. John Derflinger and family. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Neier of Westfield spent Sunday as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Richardson. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Hine, Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Fitzgerald and son motored to Michigan City, Sunday where they spent the day with Mr. Hine’s sister, Mrs. August Reitz. The regular monthly meeting of the W. W. Sunday School will be held on Friday, Oct. 28 at the Charles Brown home. Mr. Forest Gilmore and family visited among friends near Winamac Sunday. Mrs. Jesse Clawson, member of the production committee of Railroad twp. attended the Red Cross meeting at Knox Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Art Muzzall and daughters of Crown Point were San Pierre callers Sunday afternoon visiting at the John Dolezal, Jr. home.
