Malcolm Peregrine is recovering from a recent illness. Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Hilliard entertained a friend Monday from Michigan. Mr. Milford Robbins is suffering severely from a boil on his neck. Mrs. Wad Duggleby has recovered from her illness. Mrs. Chas. White and Mrs. Belle Reddin spent Monday afternoon with Mrs. Oscar Ahlemeier. Mr. and Mrs. Wad Duggleby spent Monday afternoon in Winamac. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Boyle are spending a few days in Chicago. A large crowd atended the Republican meeting in Tefft last Tuesday evening. The Tefft high school juniors held a Weiner Roast Friday night at the home of Mr. Ross Meyers. The Tefft Card Club held their meeting Oct. 21 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mac Collins. First prize went to Ed. Sands for the men, and first prizes for the women went to Mrs. Walter Deerberg. Ice cream and cake were served. Mr. George Benham, principal of the Tefft school, attended the Teachers Institute at Indianapolis over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Don Felker visited relatives in Pulaski county over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Eber Forbes called on Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lane Monday evening. Are you going to attend the Carnival to be held here? It is sponsored by the school and deserves your patronage.
