Mr. Luther Albion was supposed to have been operated on Monday providing his physical condition permitted. Mr. and Mrs. George Benham entertained Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Sands and family Sunday. Mr. F. L. Anderson has just completed the first painting of his new home in Tefft. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Flores spent Sunday visiting relatives at Westville. From all indications the Tefft Carnival for this year will be ‘big-

ger and better’. This is one event that you cannot afford to miss, bring your family and friends. Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Hilliard entertained relatives Sunday. Mrs. Nancy Jones of Blue Island is spending a few weeks with Mr and Mrs. O. L. Hilliard. Harold Duggleby has been on the sick list for the past week. His mother is also quite ill. Mrs. Laura Sands celebrated her 99th birthday Monday, Oct. 17. Congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Wad Duggleby have moved into their new home this week. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Felker spent Sunday and Monday in Pulaski county. Stalbaum who has been in a serious condition is now improving. Mr. and Mrs. George Turner spent Wednesday, Thursday and Friday visiting their daughter and family at Dyer.
