Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Schreiber daughter of Brunswick visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Barkey Thursday. Mrs. Ella Bunch and son, John of DeMotte spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kight. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Iliff and son, and Mrs. Ruby Mares and son made a business call in Rensselaer Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Bailey and family autoed to Greenhill last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Garriot and daughter of Valparaiso called on Mr. and Mrs. Harold Callander and family Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Eichmeir visited at the Makeever home in Mount Ayr last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Meadle and son called on Mrs. Ruth Guthrie and son Victor Sunday. Vivian Robbins spent the week end in town with Ruth Thompson. Mrs. John Bess fell from, a flight of stairs the latter part of the week escaping serious body injuries. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Callander and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Callander of Newland. Mr. and Mrs. O. K. Mattocks and daughters of St Anne spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mattocks. Mrs. Alfred Korth was a Rensselaer visitor Friday.
