Eunice Stonebraker left here Friday to visit for a few days with relatives in Hammond. The Lewark girls, Martha and Florence, are working in Chicago. They like their work very much. Mr. Chas. Lewark of Michigan City spent Sunday night with his mother, brothers and sister, in Tefft Mr. George Turner entertained his sister, Ella Lawrence of Medaryville, last Sunday, also Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Belcher and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Herrington both of Valparaiso. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Tucker of Tennessee are spending the week end with Mr. and Mrs. James Mize. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Nelson entertained twelve of their relatives at Sunday dinner. Mr and Mrs. James Mize entertained, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Comer and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Comer, both of Medaryville, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Finch of Rensselaer Sunday. Last Friday afternoon while making hay Mr. Clarence Stalbaum had the misfortune to have one of his horses injured. A snag pierced the horse, between the front legs, entering for a distance of about 18 inches. Mr. Wad Duggleby is busy grading his yard which will complete his new home here. Mr. and Mrs. George Benham attended the Pulaski Home Coming Friday, returning here Saturday. Mr. Luther Albion is on the sick list. We hope for his early recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Flores entertained relatives over Sunday. A. J. Schaff, former section foreman here, spent Thursday and Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stalbaum.
