Kankakee Valley Post, Volume 1, Number 7, DeMotte, Jasper County, 8 September 1932 — BIG SHOE SALE AT CROWN POINT. [ARTICLE]
BIG SHOE SALE AT CROWN POINT.
The Frame Shoe Store have an important announcement in this issue calling attention to a Forced to Raise Cash Sale, ordered by their creditors to pay past due indebtedness, starting Saturday, September 10th, at 10 a. m. and continuing until more than $7,500 worth of men’s, women’s and children’s standard and nationally advertised shoes which they will sell at half price are disposed of. In some instances less than half the former prices will prevail. This loss reduction in prices is taken equally by the manufacturers and the Frame Shoe Store in order to give the buyer an immediate opportunity to make their dollars buy as much as two dollars formerly did, and thus bring back a trade revival and prosperity.
