MT. AYR RESIDENT GETS LEGION BOND.

Mr. John Standish, of Mount Ayr, was awarded the American Legion Bond of $100 which was given away by the Dewey Biggs Post, at the Jasper County Fair. Chief Rolling Cloud will terminate his performances in DeMotte Saturday night. His stay has been a very pleasant one and he has asked us to thank all of you thru this newspaper for the kindness and patronage shown him. He will open up his free show next week, Tuesday, Sept. 6th at Lowell. His new location will be just east of the Nichols Filling Station, at the very edge of Lowell, on road No. 2. He invites you to visit him while he is showing at Lowell and to bring your friends with you. There will be changes of performances each night.
