Mr. and Mrs. Harry Doyle and family of Aurora, Illinois visited at Lon Vicorys home three days of last week. Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Montgomery of Custer Park, Illinois, spent the last week end with the latters parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. G. Fry. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Martin were in Indianapolis Wednesday where they had the body of his new school bus installed Miss Helen Warher of Indianapolis was the guest of her friend, Mrs. Fred McRoberts several days last week. Mrs. Fred Goarz of Chicago visited with her husband here Monday. He is the Western Union Lineman at this point. Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Born were Danville visitors last Tuesday. Mrs. B. H. Clark of Chicago spent several days last week with her sister, Mrs. Ed. Bruckman. Friends of Emil Sirois are sorry to hear of his serious illness of “summer flu”. Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Vicory and daughters Mona and Margaret visited Mrs. Vicory’s father, Wm. F. Bingham at Enos last Monday. Miss Dorothy Fry and her Sunday School Class enjoyed a weiner roast at Defiers Island Thursday. Rue Lee and “Woody” Larsop were in Chicago Thursday to see the Cub-Brooklyn ball game. Mrs. Charles Medhurst of Lincoln Park, Michigan, is spending a few days with her brother, W. E. Smith. Emil Larson and family attended the Larson reunion at Niles, Mich., Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Strickland of Hessville spent Sunday with Mrs. Strickland’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hermie Hayden.
