Mr. and Mrs. Lew Adams of East Chicago visited Mr. and Mrs. Jay Weaver last Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton of Chicago spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Bess. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Korth and family and Dorothy Robinson spent Sunday at Lake Eliza, ten miles east of Crown Point Mr. and Mrs. George Blakemore and son, George were Sunday callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Riggs of Kankakee spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Halas Henry and family. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Muzzall and family of Crown Point called on Mrs. A. Burton and family last Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Wright and son of Hanna, Ind., Mrs. Vansycle and daughter of Allegan, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Porventure and son of Chicago were visitors at the Mulder home Sunday. The 4-H Club of Rose Lawn held their picnic on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rusk, three miles south of here, last Wednesday. There was a very pleasant time had by all. A nine and one half pound baby boy was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Liddell at 6 a. m. last Monday morning.
