EVERYTHING IN READINESS FOR JASPER COUNTY FAIR.
The gates of the Jasper County Fair will open on Tuesday, August will be admitted free on this day. The full program of free acts will be shown both afternoon and evening. On the track in the afternoon, two good running races will be on the program. In addition, there will be two pony races that are sure to provide a lot of sport and amusement. All exhibits will be in place by noon Tuesday and will appear at their best. Anyone desiring to attend the Fair on the first day will not be disappointed in the program offered. Word has been received by the Fair Board that the Al Hansen Shows who are to furnish the midway attractions will arrive over the week end and will be in place Monday ready for the opening. They carry five fine rides and a number of clean and up-to-date shows. A full racing program of two harness races of three heats each and two running races will be put on each afternoon, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The season tickets offered for the Fair this year are meeting with an enthusiastic reception. A great many are being sold because Fairgoers recognize the rare value offered. These tickets must be purchased early.
