Samuel Sirois, Jr., who is a student at Indiana University, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sirois and son James, of Chicago, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sirois over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mauck, with a group of seven couples from the Calumet District enjoyed an outing at the Lake County Fair Grounds Sunday. Everett Estill is a frequent visitor of Momence (?) Mrs. Mary Baumaun, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Baumaun and family, of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Nelson and children, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Moscato last Sunday at a dinner given in honor of the birthday of Mrs. Moscato. Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Gilmore, newlyweds of Chicago, were guests at the summer home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gilmore, the latter part of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mathis have entertained Mr. and Mrs. Steven Shandell of East Chicago at their summer home the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Sirois, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sirois and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Sirois and son attended the Regnier reunion at the Lake County Fair Grounds last Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith from Schneider have moved to Shelby, where they will make their home. Miss Evelyn Chaffee of Crown Point and Miss Margaret Smith of Hessville spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tanner last week. Miss Anna Seach of South Chicago is making an extended visit at the home of Mrs. Andy Svorancik. The Thursday Bridge Club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Earl Sirois last week. Honors went to Mrs. Samuel Sirois, Mrs. Neil Sirois and Mrs. Earl Pace. Max Dickey accompanied by three boys from Crown Point, left last Saturday for a vacation with friends at Lake Leelanau, Mich. Miss Wava Jean Doty spent Sunday at the Lake County Fair Grounds at the Regnier reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Luchene of Hessville have recently moved to Shelby. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Hathaway of Hessville is spending a few days with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. George Hathaway. Mrs. Robert McCray and son of Cory, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. Barney Hanson and daughter of Hanna, Indiana, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Roberts, their relatives last Sunday.
