Writes us that he is delighted .-with the life at Camp Taylor, and says that Cyril Bohnert and Otmer Sprauer are doing fine, but that Carl Fritch is taking life seious. The opening feature is the first attempt at Chinese pageantry in the history of American circuses, ond it has been described as the most gorgeous presentation ever attempted The story of the genie b ave of the magic lamp is too well known to need any description here. However, it may be well to call attention to the possibilities of display in coloring and ir.a?nificient settings in the Chinese loc ile, and to the fact that Barnum & Bai ey have spent $1,000,000 to reproduce all of its glorious possibilities.
