met last Monday. They allowed
a lot of graft bills as -well as others and are ashamed to publish thevn as the law requires. John McFall bid $95.00 to serve the County as Att'y for the year 1913. Senator Milburn knocked the socks off of him with a bid of $92 00 which was accepted. Liquor licenses were granted to Wellemeyer of Holland. V. Fling of Ferdinand. Sheriff Schwenkt and Surveyor Landgrebe's bonds for their new term were approved. The reports of Henry Berger, EdC. Landgrebeand Freyberger on Rock Roads was accepted, all of them only a matter of lorm. John Enlow of Birdseye was appointed a Justice of the peace for Jefferson township. And when constable Cummings takes a blind tiger before Esq. Enlow, he will have both eyes wide open. The Vote For Con

as postmaster to succeed Mr. M. B. Thurman. Mr. Thurman will probably hold the place for t$yf years after next March, when his commission expires. Mr. Cody is a democrat and has been active in campaigns, and especially during the two weeks previous to elections. It is known that two years ago he was an active supporter of Mr. George H. Voight for the nomination for Congress, but at the "cycological" moment just previous to the primary two years ago he came to the support of the man who will recommend his appointment as post master of New Albany, N.
