For the comfort and convenience of the young ladles who come to Fairfield to learn to sew, we are erecting the above modern houses. They are as nearly fireproof as present building materials will make them. They are illuminated by electricity, heated by steam radiation, have fine modern sanitary plumbing, and mirrors in the closetdoors in each room, the full length, of the same. There will be two young ladies in a room, so come and bring a friend with you. Learn to sew and you will be independent. We will pay your board and room while you are learning. It will cost you nothing to come but your railroad fare. In a short time you should be earning $1.50 a day at the least. Write us at once, stating when you will come. SEXTON MANUFACTURING CO.

I 1 looked at my partner for support I "Certainly it was," she said. I ""'My eyes must have deceived me," . said Miss Colllngwood. "Some people cau't play tenuis at ! alk" retarnod Miss Hoyle. "on account I of their eyes." 1 thought 1 ss.w some

The latter dropped her racket and caught a trlbkllrifc stream of blood in her handkerchief, "Xou did that on purpose," she cried, casting a flashing glance at Miss IXoyl.

"Xou flatter mo. If I could hit a mark like that I'd enter fbr a championship," replied Mlsa Hoyle.
