Kean prepared the necessary requisition papers and Sheriff Vollmer left Tuesday night for Indianapolis to see the Governor from there he will go to LosAngeles to bring Beiter back here to answer the charges in the affidavit. Joseph Kraft the City Marshal made the affidavit. Beiter left Jasper on the 13th day of June and it is said that his family had never heard from him since he left If some enterprising people will get a tent and place him on exhibition at '27k a

curious people in town who will pay that amount to see him. STr i5 said that Beiter is com

Judge Betz's office. He won't riavp tn set it off. the bond will

in the town, and who are all wen known to every pious rogue in town. By-the-by would'nt it be a great stunt for our egotistical Marshal to raid the tenderloin some of these nights and see how many professional and business men as well as semi-prostitutes he could catch in his net. Get busy Joe! you know them! Instead of lying around looking for a few dirty drunks; go after bigger game. You could have landed Beiter and some one of his Calico associates most any

years.
