Judge Ely's Announcement. Petersburg, Ind., August 26, 1907. To the Editor of the Jasper Courier, I wish to say through your paper to the voters of Dubois and Pike Counties, that I am a candidate for re-nomination and re-election to succeed myself as Judge of this circuit composed of Dubois and Pike Counties. It was my intention to visit or write to each one of you during this or next month, but Asthma and Hay fever coming on so hard make it necessary for me t -deave the state for a few weeks for relief and health, in order to be ready for Court work from October on until next Augrjst again. I shall either write or visit each of you between now and the joint primary betw-een the two counties. Your good opinion and BtTOCtg ballots are earnestly solicited. Kindly Yours, EL A. ELY.
