LIFE SENTENCE.

Albert Traylor Found Guilty of Murder in The First Degree. The jury in the case of the State vs. Albert Traylor, charged with murder in the first degree, received the instructions of Judge Ely Friday afternoon and alter being out a few hours returned into court about S o'clock Friday iing with a verdict of guilty as charged and fixing his punishment at imprisonment for life. Traylor took the matter very philosophically and did not seem much disturbed. Sentence was passed Saturday and he was taken i" Michigan city Tuesday. The jury evidently paid no attion to the insanity plea made in his behalf; it is said that eight of the twelve men were in for of imposing the death sentence. The case was bitterly fought from beginning to end and the argument of counsel alone occupied nearly two days. Judge Fly's instructions were fair both sides and it seems that no ne has cause for any complaint on that tcore Petersburg Tress.
