eir While in I.ouicville last Friday we had the pleasure of meeting our old friend Mr. Cbaa. Kraus commonly known as Doc. Tie is in the grocery and ealoon business on Cor. 1- & Broadway and he invites his Dubois Co. friends to call and see him while at Louisville. oTOur Editor-in-chief, Mr. Ben Kd Doane was in St. Louis this week, doing the fair, shooting the shoots, basking in the smiles of the oriental belles, peeping into the great hereafter, admiring the hooche kooche, riding in the Ferris Wheel perambulating on the Pike, and amazing at the creation. people will hnd it very interesting reading. Dikd: Thuredaj, Dec. 1st. 1904 Edward Flick, aged 19 yrs. S mo 11 days. Deceased was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Flick. He was in good health Thursday morning and was visiting his uncle Joe Hoffman when he was struck by paralysis, he was removed to his fathers house and never regained consciousness, and died peacefully at 11:56 P. M. He was a young man of steadyhabits and his numerous friends will miss him in their circle. Interment in St. Joseph's cemetery Sunday morning Dec. 4tb, iy04, at 8 a. M.
