Thus in less than two months his life had passed to the home beyond. Will, was strictly a moral and conscientious young mau, doing fur his fell, ov -men what was in bis power to do. His life was one of peace and BHiatem. He had many true friends, who much deplore their loss. His brother Louis brought bis body home to the stricken parents and sisters. Little did they think when he bade them good bye that in so short a time aa sad an event awaited them. He fought his battle bravely, not letting them know he was growing weaker until he was in a eanitariam. and then in a few days a telegram came that he was very low, and his brother hastened to his bed side, tiniing him so feeble that a message was cent back that be waso weak it would be impossible to bring him home. There was no complaint of pain nor tear of death, At the funeral the many beautiful tloral offerings reminded us "to live in heaits we leave behind is not to die." William H. Joseph was born at Ferdinand June S, 177, and with his parents cam to Jasper when but four years old, and most of his liftwas passed here. He was educated in the Jasper public schools, after which he "vorked in the Iek factory and became a skillful cabinet mak r and joiner. The Masonic order performed the aad funeral rites, and conveyed bis body to its la-t earthly renting place in beautiful Fairmount cemetery, followed by a large concour.-'- 0 friends from all parts of the county. Funeral services were held a jalem church, where an eloquent dwOOOlM war delivered by Rev. 1'aul Re kThe Saleui choir rendered excellent music. which lad Dfl lo feel that, after all, death is n bt -1 t-rribl ? lu th trim Phriaf i nn ilcitti w II tiath wnicn mu-t te tro-i, it mau wouni ever pasjs to Ciod." -,Su live, that w hen thy summ MM o .meto join iThe intiuuieral'lr1 .i-..van.
