Tchool Trustee Harvey Tislow, of Petersburg, was arrested by a U.S. Marshal last week, as he came off the stage at the high school commencement. He is accused by K. C. Lorey, with being the principal getter up of a foot race scheme, by which Lorey lost $63,fN. He says be is "not guilty." sjsmThe biggest tking on tap for next week is the hue Horse Show at Kvansville. Excureion rates on the railroad all week. Jasper liverymen missed the opportunity of their lives by not making entries, but will probably bring some of the fine Horse Show animals back with them. See the show adv. in another column. IcsTOn Tuesday Judge Anderson at Indianapolis, sentenced DeW. C. Irish and Horace W. Jackson, two of the persona who created so much excitement about robbing the post office in Huntingburg last Fall, to the U. S. penitentiary at Leavenworth for three years, and a fine of 910 each. ssTThe Huntingburg high school commencement will beheld to-night at the City Hall, with Prof. Louis J. Roettger, of the Terre Haute Normal, aa the principal speaker. There are eight graduates. The school trustees of Huntingburg have elected Prof. F. B. Kepner for Supt. for another term, and the same corps of teachers as at present except three changes Miss Willa McMahan, who succeeds Miss Alice Greene aa principal of the high school; Louis Wagner sixth grade, and John F. Hoeing fifth grade. gsjulf about 40 of Jasper younger men, who are now idle a good por tion of the time, would get together and organize for some kind of a co operative factory, in which they could have steady employment, and then each subscibe for five shares of $100 each, in the new Jasper Building and Loan Association, to put the factory in running order as soon as they could obtain the money, they would be laying a foundation tor tu ture business success which, judi ciously managed, should secure for them a competence in their maturer years, when tbey will not be able to do much hard work. But they cannot begin at the top of the ladder, unless tbey already have money, but they must begin at the bottom, and be willing to endure some privations before they can reach the top. Your Kidney. "hv Kidneys Make Impure Blood. ... lb blood In your Sody passes through your kidneys once ever three minutes. Ä The kidneys are your blood purifiers, ihey inter cut (he waste or Impurities in the bluod. If they are sick or out cf order, they fail to do their work. Pains, aches and rheumatism come from excess of uric acid in the blood, due to neglected kidney trouble. Kidney trouble causes quick or unsteady heart beats, and makes one feel as though they had heart trouble, because the heart is over-working in pumping thick, kidneyulsoned bbod through veins and arteries. It used to be considered that only urinary troubles were to be traced to the kidneys, but now modern science proves that nearly all constitutional diseases have their beginning in kidney trouble. If you are sick you can make no mistake by first doctoring your kidneys. The mild and the extraordinary effect cf Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root, the great kidney remedy Is soon realised.
