The town board should now contract with one of our brick makers to burn 25,000 vitrified brick for other strett crossings. Dveeit Pike Resrescststlvc Cosves ties. The delegate convention met at the Court house last Saturday and was caKed to order by Mauley M. Krieg, vice chairman of Pike county. On motion of W. E. Cox, Stanley M Krieg was made permanent chairman and Homar Traylor secretary of the convention. By unanimous consent of the delegates prevent the rules were suspended and David M. Corn, of Pike county, was unanimously selected as democratic candidate for Representative of Pike and Dubois counties, and then the convention, after a session of about 15 minutes, adjourned. Owing to sickness Mr. Corn was not present. Stanley M. Krieg, Frank Ely, Alex. Dillon, and John Teague represented Pike county delegates. Justice's Cockt. Before F. L. Betz, J. P., Tuesday. Bieham. The latter makes the affidavit in each case. Died. Herman Bueltel, of Case township, died Wednesday of las' week, aged iti years, leaving wir and six children.
