IN MEMORIAM
The editor of the Coubieb desires thus publicly to express hia thanks and that of bis family to the brother editors in Dubois county for the, following sympathetic notice of the sad daath of Mis Charlotte Doane. "Truly, a touch of nature makes the whole world kin." Many friends have also written us much prized word of sympathy, which will be treasured in our hearts while life shall last. 'Tis true that "death loves a chining mark," and is inevitable to all, yet kind words! when almost overwhelmed by the bitter waters of Marah, make further'
life bearable. May God help them all should distress come to tbem.
