Little Probability of Air Line Branches Being Sold. The story that the Monon would purchase the Kvansville, Kockport, Cannelton and Jasper branches; of
the Air Line is not credited in rail
road circles here. Local employes of the Air Line
say there was no prominent otlicial

nothing in the rumor as far as he
knew. He has heard the same
rumor at various times and places
along the line of the road and when traced to their source all the stories start from Koerner's desire to have the deal made.
