Mrs. McLaughlin was one of the first settlers in the western ortion of Dubois county, and was a veritable mother in Israel, having been a member hf the C. P. church for over 50 years. She was buried Monday, at New Lebanon, I'ike county, attended by a large number of people. Rev. J. I. Oregonpreached a feeline funeral discourse. She leaves her aged husband, and th ree daughters and three sons, all married, u mourn the loss of "mother." She was a niece of ! Aunt Lucinda Andeison, living near Ireland, and an aunt of our fellowtownsman, postmaster Seb. Ander son.
