ÄThe primary election in Jasper for town officers last Saturday, was the occasion of considerable electioneering, and brought out 838 voters. The ticket chosen, as a whole, is a very good one, and will receive the hearty supjiort of the Democrats, as well as many Republicans. It was a good natun-d contest, made on the grounds of town economy, and those in favor of paying the debt of the town as soon as the bonds provide, won, so we may expect in a few years a lower rate of town taxation.
