Nov. f..r the success of Bryan and Sew all. tTTht delegates and visitors to the Congressional Convention at New Albany, Wednesday, base returned, and report a stormy time in part of the counties. The convention was called to order by ( hairman K. H. Willett. and Qeofge H. Yoight, of Floyd, and liobt Mitchell of Washington county were named for chairman, ami a contest devel-ojn-d in Clark and Floyd count i--ver counting the vote- of either for hairman as a unit. The chair declared Mitchell ejected, and an ap eal from this decision wa- taken, when Mitchell withdrew, and Yoight
was unanimously chosen. Hon. C. L. Jewett had withdrawn from the contest for tin OOOgWsional nomination, and Scott county decided to cast its vote for Marsh. Hut Floyd wa- divided between the three remaining candidates. Finally a vote by countie- SHU . ailed for and Judge Zeno; received vote-. 1 more than enough to nominate, and wa- declared the unanimous nominee. The national platform was eadoend, and Bryan and Sewall pledged a hearty -upport, and the Convention adjourned.

The Superintendent says : The instructors are Prof. Tho.. A. M.'tt. Bupt. city schools. Madson, Ind.. and Prof. Sherman I.. DaVM, of the State University.
