IfisfThe Sunday School Conven
tion at Ireland on .Saturday and Sunday last was a great success, and
stirred up an interest in Sunday School work that it is hoped will bear good fruit. Representatives were there from six townships in the county, making it the largest and m st general convention of the Union yet held in Dubois county. The hospitable people of Ireland and surrounding, it liberally provided for all who attend d free, and maintained the prestige of that neighborhood for wide-awake citizens. Messrs. Meigs, and Weaver, of Indianapolis, and Bonner, of j Vincennes, State workers, were forcible, eloquentand entertaining speakers. County Chairman R. M. Milburn kept things moving right along no time wasted and showed that he was an excellent organizer and presiding officer for such an occasion. The various preachers in attendance discharged the parts assigned to them with ability, and Superintendents and teachers all added by their addres-es, to the general interest. This Convention demonstrated that intelligent, Christian people generally have a growing interest in
Sunday School work, and that suc'.i
conventions, when properly arranged for before hand, can "hi made
