The Dubois county Board of Kducation met at the County .Superintendents ollice on last Monday at I o'clock p. m., in accordanco with Sections .H2(J and 413(5, U.S. 1891. All of the trustees were present except X. Ii. Coffinan, of Uoone. The purposes of the meeting were fully explained by the county superintendent. On motion John E. Steinkamp was elected secretary of the meeting, after which .Superintendent Wilson explained the different reports, settlements, duties and work jf the trustees in the field of education, a.id answered niiinv ouestions asked by the members of the board. in regard to their duties. 1 he bjard agreed to pay teachers for days actually taught; in other words no allowances are to be made for holidays.
