JThere can be no question with thinking men generally, those who reason from cause to effect, and desire to preserve peace and harmony in the United States, and who have read Justice Field's separate opinion in favor of the wealth of the country in the income tax decision last Monday, that the sooner Justice Fields resigns, or lawfully "passes in his checks" to the great hereafter, the better it will be for the public good. In the present crisis its a great pity such men still exist.
