fejrMr. Krank Betz is circulating a petition to the Jasper Town Board to have a survey made, and levy a tax to secure water works in the town. This is a move in the right

direction, and all public spirited citizens should sign it. By the levy of a tax before hand, the town will be able to build a system of water works within the 2 per cent, indebtedness limit of the law. It is probable they would not cost over $15,000 020,000. Push it ahead, and get all things ready to begin work on them next year.
