He is a .-on of Mr. August Sonderman, Sr., for many years a partner in the Scrniershoiin store, under its different partnerships, and hefore being a partner the trusted manager to a large extent of his father-in-law's Mr. Joseph Serinersheiin, Sr.'s business, and now President of the Bank. general merchandise of all kinds, except men s clothing and shoes, which has since heen largely added to, and is now probably the best general store in the county, and is doing a very extensive business. Albert Sniidcrman was born in Jasper July IS, hstiö, received a fair common school education, was established in business in August 1X1)2, was married May 1!), 1X.2, to Miss Lena Mchringer, daughter of George Mehringer, and their union has been blessed with one child, Alma. The store gives employment to several persons, and occupies a space 50 by 100 feet on the cornet of X. Main and Seventh streets. During lSt): the busine-s aggregated about 50,000, and the proprietor now buys largely in the New York City markets, taking advantage of the many opportunities offered in the largest market in the Tinted States to secure bargains for his customers. For the spring of 1X5)1 he has brought on an immense stock of goods in his lines, receiving one car of dry goods alone, which he selected by personal examination, and is confident ho can show his customers as large, varied ami handsome an assortment of Dress Goods a.- can Im found in Southern Indiana.
