Mr. George Schwartz, a wall known farmer of Patoka town ship, and a good citizen except for ex ceesive drinking, got too much liquor in Huntlngburg on Thursday of laet weak, and aaba was going home on the R. R. track was run oyer and horribly mangled by the ETanifills accommodation about 8 o'clock at night. Hie body wai not discovered till next morning. Ha was buried at the Jasper grara yard on Friday, the funeral being very largely attended. Rev. W. H. Jackson officiated at tba burial, and made soma appropriate remarks at the grave. Ha was the father ot fourteen children thirteen of whom, and his wife, are living, the youngeet child beiag 14 years old. He was a Catholic in belief and raising, but bad not affiliated with any church for some time. He was a brother of Mrs. Kraus, of
jasper. Roorbacka.
