aotics of several of the candidates in
this county before tbe Democratic pri
mary, aad also a compliment to tbe
gallant Democracy of Dubois county
gsnsrslly, and some of the offices se
lected from its ranks for district and
Stats honors. ''Re-union Joe" knows
what a warm heart Dubois conntv Democrats have for old soldiers, and
formen who are true to their princi plat, and withstand in office the bland
ishmeatB of wealth, and the purchas
ing power of patronage. It Bays :
"No county in tbs state can boast of
better democracy than Dubois county. It is a rock ribbed dssnocrstic county aad its officers are men of whom all mar well be proud. Hon. John L. Bretz is a faithful representative la Congress, and is always foand at his post. During tbe past weak be became disgusted at tbs absence of members and no quorum, and is credited with saying : "I asn in favor of prlatieg each day in the lead ing metropolitan journals the names of absentees, aad to continue to expose their neglect of duty until their con stituents arise ia their just wrath and
force (hens to attend tbe sessions of
tbe House." Hob. A. M. Sweeny, present clerk of tbe State Supreme Court, is an honorable gentleman and a faithful officer, universally popalar with courts and litigants. He discbarges bis dut) so faithfully tbat bis re-nomination abould be by acclamation. Representatives ia tbe state legislature for naay years past have been men above tbe average as legislators. At no time have tbs voters of that county bad cause to regret the selection of a state representative, nor have tbev causa for regretting tbe election of their congressman and a state officer.

The operating room with, its tiled
floor and wainscotiuir. and marble
wash bowls and sink is a beauty. It
is lighted by large windows and a
skylight, and at night by gas and electric light. The water by a special
system is all boiled before using
tbe stands.
The building is heated by direct-in
direcct steam, that is, under each ra
diator is an opening for the admission
or fresh air, besides each room is pro
vided with a ventilating Hue so that
tbe air can bo changed every few
minutes witnout opening a door or
window.
All the water in filtered through
two large Bowden filters.
Buth gas and electric lights arj pro
vided.
Tbe plumbing is thoroughly sani
tary and tho bath rooms are elegantly finished. Hot, cold, steam and elec
tric baths arc given.

furnished, and provided witb electric

Medical anil surgical cases will be

The terms are reasonable. In fact
in any cao of severe illness it wit
